Merchandise sales at a football club is a critical part of it's activity, and can be seen as a barometer of their commercial performance. To that end, we wanted to launch a scoring system to analyse the performance of each clubs’ online merchandise store. One that would identify which clubs are REALLY doing a great job at converting their audience/fans into revenues.

After a couple of months of integrating data sources & testing formulas in excel, we are now ready to share the:

Clubs that are high on our table are likely to be achieving revenues well above the industry average to be expected from the size of their audience. On the other hand, clubs lower down the league, could well be leaving “money on the table”, with our unique merchandise marketing platform we believe have an opportunity to improve online merchandise revenues for all clubs.
